Justin Timberlake released a new movie, and he’s pretty nervous…

Justin Timberlake says he’s quite nervous about the way his new concert-based film will be received by critics and audiences over time.

The 35-year-old musician’s movie, Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids, documents the end of his 20/20 Experience world tour and depicts the struggles and victories he endured along the way. Despite being confident as a singer, Justin’s uneasy feeling is based on the fact that he can’t hide” behind a fictional character for the movie.

He shared with Entertainment Tonight: “I’m nervous because there’s not a character that I can sort of hide behind.”

The Can’t Stop the Feeling artist also refuses to take all the credit, as there were countless people who assisted throughout the tour and the film.

He added: “You put a bunch of geniuses around you, and then you take all the credit. To take that tour for two years and still have so much fun … we captured the last two shows and there was still so much good will and love between everybody.”

The star is grateful to have a career worthy of being documented and calls his experiences “an embarrassment of riches.”

He said: “This is unlike any experience I’ve ever had. It feels like an embarrassment of riches, really.”

And director Jonathan Demme had nothing short of compliments for the singer. He claims to have become one of his biggest fans after working together on the project.

He stated: “What makes my head explode is trying to understand the way this man took all those visual elements and musical elements. How did you do it? How did you dream all that stuff up?”

Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids is now available for streaming on Netflix.
