Debra Messing wants a naughty ‘Will & Grace’ reunion

Debra Messing is open to a Will & Grace reunion or even a continuation, but admitted it would be nice for Netflix to be in charge so that they could get “naughty.”

The actress starred as Grace in the memorable sitcom that ran for weight years until it ended in 2006. After the main cast recently reunited in a 10-minute video to promote the US Presidential Election, she admitted to miss being on the show thanks to the presence of her co-stars.

She told People magazine: “The response has been very overwhelming and really, really heartwarming. If there was a ‘Will & Grace 2.0’, my wish is that we did 10 [episodes] on, like, Netflix or Amazon or somewhere where it could be the naughty version of ‘Will & Grace‘.”

The star is also looking to go all out, as she would like to disclose anything and everything fans may have missed over the years.

“Because you know we were on network television and there were certain lines of common storytelling that we were limited to so it would be fun to kind of go into that world where nothing is held back.”

Actress Megan Mullally, who played Karen on the show, is also backing her up and shares similar beliefs.

She stated: “I feel great about [the possibility of extending the series]. Anything’s possible!”

Eric McCormack, who played Will Truman, is not as open to the idea as there would be high expectations about a possible reunion, leading him to be more cautious in his approach.

He added: “This was the best we could muster right now, just putting all of our talents to great use before this election,” he said about the tight schedule to make the short video happen. “I know a lot of people thought, ‘Oh my God, it’s all coming back, it’s starting again,’ but this is what we got today.”
